How to Shop for
Glasses
that Fit
Your Prescription
Do you need progressive lenses or have
a high prescription? We’ve got you.
Glasses for Progressive Lenses
If you have progressive lenses, you’ll need glasses tall enough to accommodate them.
Since you’ll effectively have two prescriptions in one lens, look for glasses with a lens
height of 30 mm or larger and avoid skinny frames and smaller shapes.
Glasses for High
Prescription Lenses
When it comes to frames for a high prescription, there are a few things you want to consider. Because your lens will be thicker, choose an acetate frame over rimless or semi-rimless frames.
Shape can also make a huge difference in the thickness of your lenses, so we recommend small, round frames. To ensure the thinnest lenses possible, you can also choose a high index lens, which is included in our Platinum package.

NOTE: An eye exam is recommended every year. As a rule, you shouldn’t go longer than two years between eye exams. You may need to have your eyes examined more often if you have a family history of eye diseases, diabetes, if you have generally poor health, or you’re taking medications that may have potential side effects on the eyes
